First off, what is EFT Tapping?
According to Dr. Oz: "The Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT, is the psychological acupressure technique I routinely use in my practice and most highly recommend to optimize your emotional health. Although it is still often overlooked, emotional health is absolutely essential to your physical health and healing - no matter how devoted you are to the proper diet and lifestyle, you will not achieve your body's ideal healing and preventative powers if emotional barriers stand in your way." EFT is very easy to learn, and can help you interrupt negative thought patterns.
"EFT is a form of psychological acupressure, based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments for over five thousand years, but without the invasiveness of needles. Instead, simple tapping with the fingertips is used to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the head and chest while you think about your specific problem - whether it is a traumatic event, an addiction, pain, etc. -- and voice positive affirmations."

So you are going to gently tap your fingertips on the following points as you repeat out loud the positive statements like the ones in the scripts below.

Tapping Points TH = Top of Head EB = Eyebrow SE = Side of the Eye/Temple UE = Under the Eye UN = Under the Nose/Centre Point that Dips Ch = Chin CB = Collar Bone UA = Under the Arm WR = Wrists
Now, here is one of my favourite scripts to help you feel less anxious about the future and about the unknown.
Set Up while tapping the fleshy part of the side of your hand or your wrists:
Script: "Even though I am anxious about the future I still completely love and except myself."
TH = I am built to do hard things. EB = Every day I get stronger and wiser. SE = I can trust my intuition. UE = I trust that my body and my mind can handle anything that comes my way. UN = I can just take one day at a time. Ch = No matter what, I will be ok. CB = What is coming is better than what is gone. UA = It is this or something better. WR = I am in my power.
Take a deep breath in. Repeat 3 or 4 times until you feel better.
Adapt the script as you like so the wording speaks to you!
