Easiest Vegan Cheese

This can be used on pizza, in wraps, on tacos, pasta….I literally put in on almost everything.  The bonus is that you can make it in 10 minutes and you don’t need to be organized because there is no soaking the nuts overnight which is almost always a given in other vegan cheese recipes.  Enjoy!

1 cup of almonds

1 cup cashews

2 tbsps nutritional yeast

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tbsp sea salt

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

2 tbsp olive oil

Grind the nuts in the food processor or bullet until you have a fine powder, then transfer to a mixing bowl.  Add the nutritional yeast, spices, vinegar and salt.  You can just blend in the food processor if you have one, otherwise hand mix the spices in.    In a frying pan head the olive oil on low, when hot add the mixture to texturize the vegan cheese.  Allowing it to lightly toast for added flavour.  Keep in an airtight glass container in the fridge for up to one week.  Enjoy!
