Current running routine is 5k 4x per week. Yoga 2x weekly. One day rest or 15-45 min strength routine depending on how I feel Sunday.
I found trying to run further distance less times per week was taking me away from feeling like it was an ingrained habit. For most of us it works best to keep the goal completely obtainable but a daily expectation so that you are not deciding IF you are going to work out today, just how. Do it as early in the morning as you can to get it out of the way and have it set an awesome tone for your mind + body. You will be feeling great and satisfied with yourself for accomplishing something.
